Terms & Conditions.
On set your first point of contact will usually be the 2nd Assistant Director (2nd AD).
Do not take any of your personal belongings onto the set. We are not liable for any loss or damage to personal possessions.
For the avoidance of doubt, t he agency’s commission will be deducted at 20% of the invoice total in all TV, Theatre & Film work obtained by Top Talent Agency and a 30% commission rate for all modelling and photographic work. VAT and any agreed expenses and service charges will be added.

You will be told what to do by a member of the crew. We expect everyone to behave in a professional manner whilst representing TOP TALENT AGENCY. Whether in a rehearsal or filming, a particular sequence may be shot a number of times and from a number of angles, for this reason you need to remember your first position and what you have been told to do. Please keep noise to a minimum at all times unless otherwise instructed. Catering will be provided when you are on location. If you are at a studio be prepared to pay for your own meals at the canteen.
We cannot pay you until we have received payment from the production company. Every effort will be made for this to happen as quickly as possible. However, the industry standard is approximately 4-6 weeks from the day that you worked, but can sometimes take longer. All payments will be made by cheque to you. As an agency, we take 20% on all TV, Film & Theatre work and 30% on all photographic and modelling. This will also include any repeat fees.
Overtime rates apply before 9 am, after 6 pm and on all bookings over eight hours. .

Bookings
When you are contacted by a member of the team regarding work you will be given either a confirmed booking or a pencil booking (If you are not told please ask). Before committing please be 100% sure about your availability. If you have a pencil booking and other commitments arise please inform us immediately. You will be told the rate of pay when you are booked. Some bookings will be very last minute, so please be aware of this. The nature of filming dictates that schedule changes often occur. This may result in your filming day being postponed or cancelled. Unfortunately this can occur at very short notice. The production is entitled to cancel you without remuneration up to 5:30pm the night before your scheduled day of work.
Important Warning
Please be aware that your reliability and punctuality reflects our agency’s reputation. If you fail to attend without good reason, or are consistently late, this will be noted and may result in you being taken off our books.
Checking In
Although we cannot guarantee you work, we will be working extremely hard for you. If you feel you have not heard from us in a while, please feel free to give us a ring. Most times, the reason you won’t be getting much work will be due to the reason that there just aren’t that many castings out there that suit your child.
Costume Fitting
On some productions you will be required to attend a costume fitting which you will be paid for. This is not usually a full day. However, it is as important a commitment as a day’s filming and the same rules apply.
Appearance
Please remember that the photo we are using will last the entire year. If your appearance changes drastically; for example, a radical change of hair style/colour, or you develop a deep tan; please let us know.
On Set
Mobile Phones and Cameras are not permitted on set
Payment
Overtime
The overtime rate is one-and-a-half times the daily rate between 18.00 and 24.00 hours.
A special rate is negotiated for night work between 24.00 and 09.00 hours.
Work on Saturdays is at one-and -a-half times the normal rate.
Work on Sundays and Bank Holidays is at double the normal rate..
Fittings
Fees for fitting are charged at half the hourly rate with a minimum of £20 per hour.
Additional Fees Usage
Usage fees means an addition to the model or performer’s hourly/daily rate. Billboards, national ads, consumer product packaging, poster, hang tags or use of models or performers names all constitute a "premium" subject to usage fee negotiation. Additional fees are payable for the right to use the photographs (or reproductions, or adaptations of, or drawings therefrom, either complete or in part, alone or in conjunction with any wording or drawings) for all known or anticipated purposes other than the initial Permitted Use. (e.g. packs, posters, showcards, record covers, swing tickets etc.) In general the additional fees cover the right to use one image for one year from the date of the booking, in the UK only, for the purpose or purposes agreed.
Territory
Additional fees are also payable for the right to use the photographs (or reproductions, or adaptations of, or drawings therefrom, either complete or in part, alone or in conjunction with any wording or drawings for all known or anticipated territories other than the UK. In general the additional fees cover the right to use one image for one year from the date of the booking. In the territory or territories agreed.
Tax and National Insurance etc
As you will be classed as Self Employed , you and your child will be in charge of your own tax and national insurance if applicable.
